Instructions for Cooperating TeachersLink to Adobe PDF of the instructions

  1. Log into the system.
    • Your username is your email address we have on file.
    • Your Password is by default ‘coedata’. (without the apostrophes)
  2. Select the student you would like to assess.
  3. Select the rubric you would like to assess.
  4. For each row assess the student on a 0-3 scale by selecting the score in the left column for the element.
  5. When you have completed the assessment, click “Submit Assessment” at the bottom.
  6. You will receive a confirmation message, “Assessment submitted successfully. Thank you.”
  7. When you are done you may click “Sign Out” in the top right corner to end your session.

Instructions for StudentsLink to Adobe PDF of the instructions

  1. Log into the system.
    • Your username is your G Number.
    • Your Password is by default ‘coedata’. (without the apostrophes)
  2. Select the class you would like to assess.
  3. If your course has two or more assessments, select the rubric you would like to assess.
  4. Assess yourself on a 0-3 scale by selecting the score in the left column for the element on the same row.
  5. When you have completed your self assessment, click “Submit Assessment” at the bottom.
  6. You will receive a confirmation message, “Assessment submitted successfully. Thank you.”
  7. If you have another course section to assess, click “Select another Section.”
  8. If you have another assessment in the same class to complete, click “Select another Rubric.”
  9. If you have no more assessments to complete, you may click “Sign Out” in the top right corner to end your session.

Instructions for FacultyLink to Adobe PDF of the instructions

  1. Log into the system.
    • Your username is your university login. If your department container is not .ed, please add your department container.
    • Your password is your university password.
    • If you need help recovering your university password, please contact the help desk at 616-331-2101.
  2. Select the course section you would like to assess.
  3. Select the student you would like to assess.
  4. Select the rubric you would like to assess.
  5. For each row assess the student on a 0-3 scale by selecting the score in the left column for the element.
  6. When you have completed the assessment, click “Submit Assessment” at the bottom.
  7. You will receive a confirmation message, “Assessment submitted successfully. Thank you.”
  8. If you have another assessment for the same student to complete, click “Select another Rubric.”
  9. If you have another student in the same class to assess, click “Select another Student.”
  10. If you have another course section to assess, click “Select another Section.”
  11. Repeat steps 3-11 above until you are done.
  12. When you are done you may click “Sign Out” in the top right corner to end your session.

Notes

Some rubrics may be missing or in an incorrect format. If a rubric for one of your classes needs correcting, please contact Jeffrey Rollins at rollinsj@gvsu.edu
